Rush is always an exciting time for incoming freshmen but it can be overwhelming at times so here are some tips on how to tackle Rush week.

#StayHydrated
Rush is a long and intense process so you must stay hydrated all day. Swell bottles are great water bottles to have because they keep your cold drinks cold for 24 hours and your hot drink hot for 8 hours.

    #SelfCare
Rush can be very stressful so you need to make sure you are taking care of yourself mentally and physically. It is so important to take care of yourself especially when you are under a lot of pressure. Make sure you are listening to your body and you know your limits. If you’ve had a super long day you can just stay in a do a face mask to relax or take a hot shower with some nice body scrub.

      #SelfExpression
It can be nerve-racking trying to stay out among 600+ girls especially when you have a specific dress code to abide by. Accessorizing is an easy way to show your personality and it could be a great conversation starter. It’s not all about name brands you can find some affordable accessories that make a statement. Add a little fun to your hair-do by either tying a fun scarf or clipping in pearl barrettes. You can also elevate your outfit by wearing some cool and unique jewelry.
