If you thought the seventies trend was on the way out, think again!  After a spring season full of 1970′s style fashions, the fall has even more in store.  One of the biggest trends inspired by the seventies is high waisted pants.  While denim was big for spring, fall is all about trousers!  Designer Marc Jacobs filled his Fall runway show with belted, high waist trousers, accented with feminine fabrics on top.  Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel’s lead designer, kept true to Coco’s signature aesthetic with textured, men’s wear styles.

High waisted pants are great because they flatter all body types.  They add curves to those who don’t have them and camouflage curves for those who do; all of this while accenting the skinniest part of a woman’s figure.  High waisted trousers can be feminine or masculine but always present a sophisticated sense of style.  If you can’t wait until Fall, there are plenty of high waisted styles available now.  Stop in one our store locations to find great denim and trousers like the blue pair by Glam pictured below, retailing for only $68!  Who says you have to break the bank to have great fashion?
